Arrival at Cantus Magus
Twelve-year-old Mina is sent by her mother to a very special school: Cantus Magus – the largest music school in the world. Here she is meant to learn how to touch people with her unique voice and use singing as a magical instrument.
On her very first day, she meets the strict headmistress Miss Balalaika and the old coat rack Sir Harold, who once held the crown for the Queen of England.
New friends, new adventure
In her room, Mina meets Scott Thicket, a 500-year-old vampire who prefers milk to blood, her roommate Amy – who arrives on a flying carpet – and the talking yellow cellphone Fonny.
But there is little time for introductions: that very evening the three friends must pass a difficult entrance exam in front of all students and teachers. Will they rise to the challenge?
